REASONS WE LOVE SPRINGTIME...

We have been very busy these past few weeks with several wonderful opportunities to help redesign some very special homes and office spaces.  We have had the privilege of redesigning a great log home, several office areas and decorating for a fundraiser at Enoch's Stomp Winery in Harleton, TX on April 16.  The fundraiser is for the benefit of the Good Shepherd Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  We are really excited and honored to have been asked to decorate for such a great cause!  Thanks to the Phillips & Briscoe families for thinking of us.

In between those times when we are decorating as THE COZY PERCH, we are sneaking time to work in our own gardens and driving around town to take in the beauty of springtime in East Texas.  The weather has been beautiful, the sights and smells of springtime are all around us, and we thought we'd share just a few pictures of some of the beauty of April with you.

Teresa and Jay recently visited the Azalea Trails in Tyler, TX...
WHAT a beautiful display of God's handiwork!
It makes us think of Robin Williams' quote about springtime...
"Spring is nature's way of saying, "LET'S PARTY!!"

All of the azalea pictures were taken
in the backyard of a Tyler couple
who graciously opened their backyard for visitors
during the time of the Azalea Trail.
(Ok...we admit it...our gardens have a long way to go
before they grow up to be like these!)

The pear trees lining the entrance to a street in Longview...BEAUTIFUL!!

We hope you have enjoyed looking at some
of the beauty of springtime with us.
We want to take this time to wish each of you
a very happy Easter with your families
as we all celebrate God's promises of spring
& of hope because of The Resurrection.
