THE POWER OF A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION...

LATE SUMMER is the last hurrah for vacations, and the Krupa family enjoyed a week visiting beautiful Rosemary Beach, a great neo-traditional town that lies right between Panama City and Destin, Florida.

While hanging at the beautiful white sand beach was a daily event for me and my family, I have to say that wandering through the tree-lined boardwalks and riding bikes through the meandering streets of this special place was equally as rewarding for me.  As I mentioned earlier, Rosemary's homes, cottages and carriage houses have all been designed with a traditional flare, but in a brand new way.  The results are perfect for this community...lots of white and natural colors; beautifully landscaped entries; cozy porches and amazing doors that are hard to pass by without wondering what the rest of the house looks like inside.  As we rode our bikes, it was common to see gas lanterns flickering on either side of these grand entries, and the only noises we heard were the birds singing and an occasional bicycle bell.  Definitely a cozy, quaint place to hang for a week!

This month, The CoZy PeRch newsletter,
"CoZy Conversation" is featuring some of the beautiful entryways and porches that caught my eye as I wandered this quiet little beach town.  Be sure to check it out at http://www.thecozyperch.com under "Our Newsletter."  I thought I'd share with you a few more architectural beauties here, as well.  While we may not have the roar of the ocean surf or the white sand as the backdrop where we live, just looking at these photos can give all of us inspiration to redesign and recreate our doors and entries to be inviting and beautiful.  ENJOY!

Porches & Entries of Rosemary Beach...
I LOVE the Potato Vine flowing all over this porch.
The mustard and green tones are a great contrast!

Simple lines, but so inviting!

One thing The CoZy PeRch is all about is creating beautifully comfortable and inviting spaces where you and your family and friends can gather for good conversation, fun times and sweet memories.  Starting with the front porch and entryways seems like a good place to start...especially when you consider that this is the first good impression of what lies just beyond the doors of your home.  We would love the chance to help you make your home a cozier place to perch!   Visit our website at http://www.thecozyperch.com for information and to contact us today!

Oh, and by the way, our family would strongly recommend a week's vacation (even a weekend) to Rosemary Beach, Florida.

It has definitely become a favorite of ours.

HAPPY DECORATING!    ;)     sk
